  • Depart from Bangalore early in the morning. You can either drive or take a flight to Shillong.

  • If driving, it's approximately a 36-hour journey covering around 3,000 kilometers approximately . Plan your route to pass through major cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, and Guwahati before reaching Shillong.

  • If flying, book a flight to Guwahati, the nearest major airport to Shillong. From Guwahati, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Shillong. The journey from Guwahati to Shillong takes around 3-4 hours.

    Arrive in Shillong by evening and check into a guesthouse or hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Some recommendations would be “Collection O the Serene”, “Phibha Villa”, “Hotel HEIGA VNS”, “Hotel Poinisuk”

Day 2

 After breakfast, begin your journey towards Jowai, which is about a 2-hour drive from Shillong via the Jowai road.

  • Upon reaching Jowai, have lunch at a local eatery. After lunch, head towards Khliehriat. It's approximately a 1 hour drive from Jowai. Check into Tiesta guesthouse

  • Spend the evening relaxing at Tiesta guesthouse. Enjoy dinner at the guesthouse or nearby eateries.

Day 3

  • Wake up early, have breakfast at the guesthouse and pack some lunch.

  • Head out to Krem Chympe. Take a hike to the falls and cave and marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the waterfall and surrounding landscape.

  • Spend time enjoying the tranquility of the area, perhaps indulging in activities like swimming or photography.

  • Have the packed lunch near the falls or return to the guesthouse for lunch.

     Spend the afternoon exploring more of the area or simply relaxing at the guesthouse.

  • In the evening, enjoy dinner at the guesthouse or nearby restaurants.

Day 4

  • After breakfast, check out from the guesthouse.

  • Depart for Shillong, from where you can either drive back to Bangalore or catch a flight from Guwahati.

  • Optionally, make stops along the way to visit any other attractions that interest you.
